Industrial Application of StrainersStrainers are pressure vessels that support a filtering unit constructed from either mesh or perforated
material. They are used to separate corrosive debris from the stream flow and protect the process equipment from potential damage in the pipeline system. They can be temporary startup strainers that are used on system startup and removed once the process is complete. Startup Strainers
We fabricate standard and custom startup strainers with installation, operation and maintenance in mind.
Temporary Cone StrainersTemporary cone strainers are typically suited for a standard amount of filtering area. They can be customized to any length, diameter and requested flange changes for higher pressure rating and other filtration needs.
Temporary cone strainers are available in all standard sizes or from 1” to 24” pipe size for easy installation and removal. These strainers filter out even the finest particulates and contaminants in normal or reverse flow configurations. |
Temporary Basket StrainersTemporary basket strainers are suited for a restricted area. BG Screen Fabrication has a range of custom designed basket strainers for installation in processing lines with high flow.
These strainers are available in standard as well as custom sizes of 1” to 24” to exceed operational performance. |
Temporary Plate StrainersTemporary plate strainers are best suited for tight and restricted filtration areas.
We manufacture these strainers ranging from 1” to 24” using perforated material, mesh or a combination of both for direct installation in pipelines to remove unwanted debris and prevent wear and tear. |
